Hi,

I am currently experiencing this error whenever I try to access my Site Settings page. This first occured after I attempted to create a new parent portal on my installation. The portal was created successfully, but after that I started having this error.

This is the error message:

Error: Site Settings is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format at System.String.Format(String format, Object[] args) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Portals.SiteSettings.BindClientResourceManagementUi(Int32 portalId, Boolean overrideDefaultSettings) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Portals.SiteSettings.BindPortal(Int32 portalId, String activeLanguage) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Portals.SiteSettings.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Can this be resolved by replacing the Site Settings module files? I am reluctant to try this out on my live site where this error is occurring.

Thanks for your assistance to resolve this.

Regards

Mark

Mark, is it a newly installed Website or an upgraded one?

Cheers from Germany,

This is a new website deployed using the Azure Accelerator for DNN 6.2.

It was working perfectly with the default  website i.e. I could access the Site Settings when I had just the default website. However, after I created an additional parent site I started having this issue with the Site Settings module.

Thanks for your prompt response.

Regards

Mark

There is one thing I have discovered about issues raised on this platform, and this is "there are very few responses". Most times you get a question from Sebastian Leupold but no real solution from anyone else.

Dear community, please kindly assist.

Thanks in advance.

I had this error solved when i saved the translations for that module

go to languages and edit system ones

\DesktopModules\Admin\Portals\App_LocalResources\SiteSettings.ascx.ru-RU.resx

Save it in the languages where you see the error.

Best

Jose
