Hi there, I tried upgrading our version of Dot Net Nuke from 4.05.05 to 04.06.02, however I have received the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'CountryListBox' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'CountryListBox' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.

Source Error:

An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Assembly Load Trace: The following information can be helpful to determine why the assembly 'CountryListBox' could not be loaded.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.

To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.

Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

I have no idea what to do now to fix that.  Has anyone seen this before.  It says to change some registry values, however if I change that on my computer, is that only going to work for me, or for everyone or is it that I just need to turn it on, on the intranet computer?

Thanks in advance.

upgrading websites from version prior to DNN 4.6.2 required manual adoption of web.config. rename existing web.config to web.save, rename release.config to web.config and copy BOTH uncommented connection strings as well as machine and encryption key from web.save to web.config and browse to your site.

Ok, I did that, and now I get the following error:

Any thoughts?

it looks like web.config file is either read only, blocked by another application (open in text editor?) or you need to re-apply permission (or unblock the files, if there is this option at the bottom of first tab in file properties).
