when I unzip the files (Blog_04.01.01_Install\Resources\) and I want to check e.g. ViewCategories.ascx.vb file and it is missing, I only use (ViewCategories.ascx)...but the functionality works when I deploy to my project, I want to see the source code.....

any ideas where do I go to see the source code? Thx!

you can find the source files at http://dnnblog.codeplex.com/releases/view/89128 (the project is a WAP project so the .vb or .cs files are not deployed as they are compiled into the dll)

thx,

 I want to modify a bit the blog:

 I went to ViewCategories.ascx file and modified the treeView to do:

<asp:TreeView ID="tvCategories" runat="server" ShowLines="false" ShowExpandCollapse="true"
    ExpandDepth="0">

by default the list is not expended. It has a plus symbol (+) to expand the sub nodes.

when i expand the sub node and click on the sub node to show the content. once it shows the content the TreeView goes back to default state (collapses).

How do I make it stay as it was before clicked on the sub node expended (keep the same state after postback)?

 Do you know where do I need to go and modify the code? and is it possible to compile it and move the dll to my project?

 Thanks in advance!!

sorry i dont have the time to comment on code changes, but if you're using the source package you can load it in vs.net, make the changes and do a release build  -you can then deploy those changes, either by packaging it as a zip or simply moving the relevant file(s) e.g. the updated dll.
