Mvolo is for the AD provider.

What tutorial are you talking about? What server OS are you running on (2008 or 2008 R2)?

Hi,

i'm using Win2008 R2.

By the way I also read this blog article : http://mvolo.com/iis-70-twolevel-authentication-with-forms-authentication-and-windows-authentication but i can't understand where is the problem.

I don't know what I missed but i cannot get autologin worked without impacting other point (if i force windows authentication on root level of IIS and disable anonymous, i'm auto connected but i cannot logoff and switch to dnn users as I could do with older version of dnn and the ad provider)

Follow the directions here.... http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/documentation. I'll also check the specific permissions on my 2008 R2 server when I get home tonight.

Getting some strange results.

Fixing the entries in the web.config doesn't seem to help & if I switch the app pool mode back to classic, the sites don't seem to run at all & just return 404s.

Will try reset our test environment and see if I get different results.
