Hi, I am new to DNN. After reading the features of DNN, I find that its function likes Windows SharePoint Services. The document libarary of WSS supports versioning but DNN does not. How are their difference?

Thanks.

Joe.

Thanks Stefan! Very interesting. I have read both blogs. Lets say I am early adopter of DNN and therefor I know the product a bit but I have also been using Sharepoint a lot. Many of my customers have Sharepoint installed on their Small Business Server (I am a Microsoft SBS MVP and consultant). Many customers use Sharepoint a lot but when they ask me to change something I hate that. I think Sharepoint is a disaster when it comes to flexibility and changing design or anything else. It may be better to use it as an Intranet solution (this is what both blogs conclude) and DNN as the external solution...

WSS 3.0 really leverages ASP.NET 2.0 features, most notably MASTER PAGES!

This will be huge for customizing client Sharepoint sites.
