I'm not sure if this is an IIS setting or a DNN setting, but the first time a user visits the site, they're redirected to the login page.  The 2nd request does not.  It looks like DNN is looking for the .ASPXANONYMOUS cookie, doesn't find it, sets the cookie, and redirects to login page.  Subsequent requests are find because the cookie is there.  I think.  Obviously I don't want users to be redirected to the login page for parts of the site that are public.  Help!

dotnetnuke does not use the aspxanonymous cookie (its created by asp.net) - please check that your page(s) are set to allow view permissions for either anonymous or all users
