May I ask what is the status of the 5.0 blog? Development seemed to be speeding along and I was hopeful that real progress was being made, but since some SQL errors were found, nothing new has been reported. Codeplex has gone silent since 06-16-2012. Where do we stand?

Could you let us know when a working version of the RC might be available?

We're looking to test how we might use the new social features of DNN in a teaching and learning environment & being able to include the blog module in that would be ideal. Even thought I can't get everything to work, it does look good.

About I founding a lot of SqlDataProvider issues,the team is reinvestigated into those scripts, to re-check it.  I hope there will be a RC2 soon and before a release is going out.

The team is also working on other projects, so it could take some time, and it is not posible o give a time stamp yet.

Hi Guys,

Not to be a pain but do we have an idea if this new final release of dnnblog 5 will be soon.

I have held off installing any blog module on my DNN 6.2 install awaiting this new release. But I am running out of time. Am I best installing the previous stable release and then updating later or waiting for this new one. It all depends on is this new release going to be next month or in 3 months.

Sorry to ask the same question over but I have deadlines now and it is effecting our marketing not having an operational blog.
