Using DNN 6.2 Community Edition using included Search modules.

If the search query is in either of the Page Name or Page Title page settings then the search results display all modules on the page regardless of whether or not they include the search query term.

Is this a bug?

Ok thanks - I'll take at look at that extension.

I imagine the problem is something as simple as a t-sql INNER JOIN needing to be a LEFT INNER JOIN.

no, it is a bit more complicated, you may check out the code of the extensions pointed to above.
