Hi all,

I am new to Dotnetnuke.My problem is whenever I add a new child page to the menu,it displays it horizontally.What I want is if my main menu has Home,Test horizontally,when i add Test 1,Test 2 under Test they should display vertically.Please help me.

you need to modify CSS for the menu which is usually included with the Skin applied to your website. are you using default DNN skin or a 3rd party skin?

Hi Shravs.Chikki,

If you are using default DNN skin, you can find under the page-settings > advanced settings > page-skin.

Default DarkKnight skin comes with two dropdown styles... Megadropdown & Standard.

Select the page skin as DarkKnight - Home-Standard-Menu.

This skin uses vertical menu-items for child-pages.

Hi,

I am using default skin "DNNMega".I tried using skin "SuperFish" but in that case everything becomes vertical.How to modify skin such that main menu is hosrizontal and submenus under it are vertical?Please help me.

Hi,

If you want default DNN look & feel, try for DNNHome - Standard (not Mega)

It serves your purpose of showing horizontal menu with vertical child-pages.

 

In a default DNN website with DNNHome(StandardMenu) skin, it looks like this :
