I'm stuck.  The module was recently working fine and then all of the sudden something weird is happening.  The only parameters I changed were the cancel before date, email address for event emails, and starting day of the week.  When I click to add an event it says "Edit Event" and provides an update button which maybe I didn't notice that was how it always appeared on an add function.  When I try and save the event I get the following error:

I have no idea what this means.  Can you help?

After a few hours of digging, I found the setting. It appears that I have to check the "Enable Category Select" or it causes this issue. Once I check that, the problem is fixed.

FYI - I just encountered this same problem. We are using Events 6.0.1 and DNN 6.2.8.
