Hi, new to DNN, using 6.2.0 on a new site, and having a small issue.

We created a Host super user account, and an admin account for the one and only portal on the site.

The Host super user can see the portal, and do admin-ish things, but is not actually a user on the site, so can't do things like subscribe to security roles. When I look at the list of site users, host super user does not appear in the list of users for the portal.

Can I add host super user to the portal as a local user? Is that possible?

Thanks,

Dylan.

this only works by manipulating user in the database:
- create an ordinary user as member of a website
- in Users table, set value of ccolumn "isSuperuser" in his record to 1
- you need to restart the application in order for this change to become effective.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
