I am wondering how I can go about adding the new 6.2 notification bar to my custom skins?

I looked at Dark Knight and found that there is a div running at server for the bar but I do not see a registration for it.

So I tried to just take the registry from Dark Knight and the div holding the notification bar and move it to my skin but the bar does not render.

Thanks for the help

I was able to take a good chunk of it over to another skin.

I opened the Skin.css file from DarkKnight and replaced the portion of the skin.css from my aftermarket skin package. Also I copied a few files from the images folder of the DarkKnight skin pack. You'll notice references in the CSS. Once transferred it looks almost identical although it has a few flaws/kinks I'm trying to work out.

You can see an extra cell on the far right and the language buttons seam to always show instead of only showing after login. You can take a look at how it transferred so far on the site I'm developing... mschedules.com

I wonder if I missed some Javascript, thats what I'll be looking at next.

Did you ever work out how to do this?

I've just upgraded and the custom skin we use is not showing the notification bar.
