Hi,

I am trying to migrate my DNN 6.1 using Active Social over to 6.2 and I have noticed that the member directory shows all broken images and I don't understand why. At the least it should show the default placeholder image should it not? It also seems that the member directory breaks when I try to access the settings so I can not see what the template is defining the image source as

If anyone could bring some clarity to this issue it would be much appreciated.

Mark

Can you post what the errors are with the member directory when you try to access the settings? Might need to check the Event Viewer when logged in as a superuser to get the full details.

Hi Chris

We were able to solve the problem with the member director when entering the settings control. It appears that the control iterates through the portal profile properties and compare them against what is in the profileproperties.apsx.resx (i think that was the right file name) but it fails to take into account portal specific custom properties. So we had to remove those properties first before we could access the settings control. After the settings control was rendered once, we were able to re add the properties and the control continues to render without error

I am having a similar issue but I don't quite understand your resolution. All users on my brand new DNN 6.2 site are showing a broken profile image link, even new users.

How do I tell DNN 6.2 to show a default "no image" image?

Hi,

The broken link for the profile image was a result of the default portal alias setting. I believe we changed it from canonical to redirect to fix the problem.
