Hi,

I tried connecting to my AD server with the configurations provided by our network engineer, however I till couldn't get the connection established. Below is the error message I get:

Accessing Global Catalog:
FAIL
Checking Root Domain:
OK
Accessing LDAP:
FAIL
Find all domains in network:
Could not access LDAP to obtain domains info
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Looking into the Log Viewer, this is what I get:

InnerException: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Method: System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry.Bind

Message: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8007054B): The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. at System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry.Bind(Boolean throwIfFail) at System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry.Exists(String path) at DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.ADSI.Configuration..ctor()

Any help is much appreciated!

Without knowing what configuration your network engineer gave you I can't say if that's where things went wrong but... is the server that the site is running on part of the domain, have you tried using impersonation, what OS is the server running? Also have you checked the documentation found on http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com?
