Hey Guys,

JQuery UI custom themes and scope should be simple right?  Well I dont think so, I've been chasing my tail for weeks now and still running in circles... Help Please!

Scenario:

DN6.2 without backward compatiblility concern
Using hosted JQuery (1.7.2)  + UI (1.8.21)
Custom Skin stripped.

Can use hosted jquery calls and UI manipulation but unable to find information as to how to use a custom rolled UI theme in my skin.

Isnt it just a matter of including the custom UI CSS using the DNNJSINCLUDE

<dnn:DnnJsInclude ID="DnnJsInclude1" runat="server" FilePath="StartupScript.js" PathNameAlias="SkinPath" />

Can anybody provide me with a straightforward working example of a custom rolled JQuery UI being used in a simple skin so I can figure out how to accomplish this so simple feat ?

Your help is appreciated,

Thanks.

In principle loading an extra style sheet should do it.
I tried the same some months ago as a test and quit because I ran into some issues (I didn't have much time), but to be honest I forgot what the issue was.

Did you already try  including the custom theme style sheet?

I have found out that yes,  I need to add the JqueryUI classes and srcripts in the skin or conatainer And then use a wrapper to the Jquery CSS Scope around everything I want in that flavor.

I havent tried Multiple UI Scopes yet in the same page allowing for more flexible color matching but hope that someone might know of a great DNN and JqueryUI Themes tutorial that I can studio...

Its hard to learn by doing and I am positive someone out there already knows how... hope they will share :-)
