At 'random' times, an iteam in the scheduler is running more than once.

It is scheduled for every 15 minutes.   Another issue is why does the scheduler not run when it should?  It is running every 15m30+s.

See below that sometimes it runs twice and unfortunately now I see it ran 3 times.  There are no errors (unless I'm not handling them correctly and the Event Viewer shows no events/errors around those times).

There are a few things to note regarding the schedule. FIrst of all the schedule isn't guaranteed. If using the request method you have to have a web-request come in around the time it should run for it to be triggered. For the Timer Method the application has to be running for the jobs to execute.

You might check the settings for the job to be sure that you don't have a "run on event" item set as well as that could trigger multiples.
