Hi again,

Firstly, if you are using DNN 6.x, then references to 'module actions menu' should be taken to mean the Manage button menu that appears top left of the module.

OK, re-reading your posts, I'm wondering whether you have actually added a Banners Module to the page?

Lastly, can you say exactly what it is you're trying to achieve? As you're a newbie to DNN, I find it a bit odd that you are starting off by adding banner advertising to your site.

 Hi

Thank you for your help. You are correct, I had not create any Banner Module. But the document had not told me to create this type of Module before this operation.

And now the Banner Options shown after I create a Banner Module, but I can not edit the content of this banner if the banner type is TEXT, or can not re-assign a image if the type if Button and soon. And I can create a Banner by navigate Admin -> Vendors -> Edit a Vendor -> Banner Advertising. What's the defferences between the two Banners?

Thank you!

Hi again,

OK, I will have to refresh my memory on this module as I haven't touched it in a couple of years.

However, you need to firstly set up your vendor accounts and add their advertising graphics/logos. Check out About the Admin Vendors Module and About the Host Vendors Module (you will need to decide which one to choose).

Then I suggest you work your way through all the Banners Module help links under About the Banners Module.

Then you can start to use the Banners Module itself which is used to display the vendors' graphics/logos already set up in the vendors' accounts.

Come back with more queries and I will try to refresh my memory in the meantime. However, if someone with more knowledge of the Banners Module is around, then please feel free to chip in.

Lastly, just to clarify, you don't use DotNetNuke to create the banners themselves, these are created in a graphics program by yourself or a designer or sent to you by your vendor.
