We currently use the 5.05.01 Community release, and we need to upgrade our website for obvious security and bug fixes.

However, I'm a little unclear with the versions we can upgrade too.  I've noticed reference to a 5.6.7 release, 6.02.01, and now 6.2.

Which version would a CE platform upgrade to? Are we eligibile to upgrade to 6.2, or do we then pay for the professional license fees?

Thanks.

you can upgrade to any version you like, CE releases are always free - I would recommend either 5.6.8 or 6.2.1 (both released today), though if you update to 5.6.8 please be aware that the 5.x branch is sunsetted and will not receive any further security updates (see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B... )

Each release has community editon (CE), and PE/EE releases, only customers have access to the PE/EE versions
