where is the dnn upgrade wizard.

the dnn 6.2.1 manual plus other website documents state that it is in the downloads section of the website. perhaps there are numerous download sections of the website of which i am unaware, but http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/D... contains no such wizard. has it been withdrawn from downloading?

The upgrade wizard starts once you attempt to upgrade your DNN.

Download the upgrade package, unzip its contents to your DNN folder (make a back-up first!) and then access the home page and the upgrade wizard should start.

The Community releases are all on Codeplex:

Click the "Downloads" tab adn you'll see the packages for the latest relase.

Click "Version Upgrade" linked text and you'll be prompted to choose a location where you wish to download the package.

i already went there which is why i am complaining of an upgrade not working and wondering where the referenced upgrade wizard was...the information you supplied may be relevant to someone, but it did not help me at all since it did not answer my question or attempt to do so. maybe you don't know what the upgrade wizard is but it runs from the website, not dotnetnuke.com.

unfortunately your method does not work. for example there are name collissions between App_Data as that folder exists  in the upgrade and the installation folder. I have unzipped them to an upgrade folder but the upgrade is not triggered by browsing the home page.
