Hi all,

 

I have added 2 calendars in 2 pages and one parent page. I have created 2 category. I want to display the all events on main page and category events on inner page. I have added the inner page event module as subcalender. But When ADd any image in the main calender, it sodes not showing in the child page calender.

 

Please Please Guide, how canm I do that, so I update all the events from one page and the category events hsould be displayed on the respective inener page. I search evety thing but no success. Please guide me.

Hi,

As regards displaying by category, go to the calendar on the inner page, then go to Edit Settings and on the General tab, General Settings section select the category required from the Filter Events by Category drop down box and click Update Settings.

Not sure about the image issue, I will have to experiment and get back later.

Actually, it looks I'm wrong about displaying the categories, I've just noticed that the main calendar settings change as well. Odd, I'm sure it used to work like that. I will do some more testing but this may be one for Ernst Peter, or Roger when he comes back from holiday.

OK, ignore my last post, I was getting my test calendars confused! It does work as per my first post.

As to images not displaying, I have done some testing and images do display in sub-calendars in Week and Month View but not in List View, so wondering if you have the inner calendar set to List View.

Looking at the Image Settings, there are only settings for Month and Week Views, so suspect images cannot be displayed in List View.

One for Roger (when he gets back from holiday) or Ernst Peter to confirm please.

Bad signal here, so don't expect a regular response. in list view there is an image column. or use the image token in the description column.
