Hey all. I did a search and didn't find anything on this.

I am putting up a single page site (like a splash page) where I will have some content but more importantly I want to add a registration form directly on it. Rather then purchasing another module that just takes the info and emails it, I want to use the DNN database to store the names and email addresses.

Has anyone done this before? I'm using DN 6.2

Thanks.

Yes it is possible to add a rego module to a custom page - BUT - as of 6.2 there are some oddities in doing this.

The new DEFAULT rego module is not actually accessible as a module - god know why not.

You can however use the older legacy rego module --- but you may not be able to add fields like address and such to the page as the module was not really designed for this sort of thing.

You might want to look at some of the 3rd party rego modules on the store - they do include this sort of functionality and a lot more cool stuff as well.

Westa
