Hi, 

I have uploaded and applied a dnnskin.com skin (XSCModernBiz) to a DNN 6.1 website. It works fine in the admin/host area but as soon as i click on the home button it reverts back to the original skin. What do i need to do to apply it to the whole site?

Does that page call for the original skin? Look in the page settings.

Thanks for that. Has it changed that a default new site selects a specific skin rather than the default site one?

Not sure what you mean.

The sample bike shop pages seem to have a random (to me)/carefully selected (to the author) set of skins/containers.

 If I understand you correctly, then yes. I found it confusing when first creating a new site with DNN 6 that selecting a new skin in the Portal Skin in Site Settings didn't change any of the pages. I tend not to use the default Awesome Cycles template now.
