Dear Team,

    i am new to dotnet nuke. while i am installing i got the following error..

"The Auto option has been disabled as the DotNetNuke Application cannot connect to a valid SQL Server database. You can continue to use either of the other two Wizard options and configure the Database settings at the appropriate Wizard step. "

 kindly help.

this is not really an error, just a hint that default configuration cannot be used to create a database. use custom option and enter your credentials. If you are using full version of SQL Server, you need to create a blank database first and grant dbOwner permission to the account to be used by DNN.

               But when i am running through .net environment . it showed that option.

Dear Sebastian,

while i am trying with "Typical" installing . i got the following Error.

server : .\SQLExpress

integrated Security : True

Run as db owner : True

Object Qualifier : sql

Connection Error(s):
