If you do not want that the data from the module will be found in the system-wide search (DNN Search), you have to check this option.

Then go to Host :: SQL and enter

delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWordPosition
delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWord
delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchWord
delete {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItem

Check "Run as script" and execute - this deletes the search index.

Next step is: clear the cache (from the Tools menu).

To rebuild the search index, go to Host :: Search Admin and click the appropriate link - or wait until the next time the search index is rebuilt by the scheduled task.

Best wishes
Michael

Enabling the option "Exclude this module from system wide search", followed by a save settings should directly wipe out all content from the index without rebuilding the index.

Other way round requires a new index run, either started manally or by time.

OK, Stefan, I should have known that you're a programmer who thinks about side-effects of any action...

Best wishes
Michael
