Everything seems to be working correctly for Image Manager, but in Document Manager after uploading a file (supported) it does not appear in the directory it is supposed to be in. The file is physically in place, but Document Manager does not display it.

Document manager sees all of the image files, but no .DOC or .PDF files -- even though it supports the upload. I'm pretty sure this has to be a simple configuration issue for me somewhere. Any help?

Further:

I have examined the permissions at IIS/Server level -- to bypass any issues on the Test server the Application Pool User has full rights but I also gave Everyone full rights. Still no luck.

I examined the Database: Folder Permissions and everything appears to have a proper entry.

I am at a loss at what could be the issue. Any ideas?

I see similar questions have been asked before and roundly ignored, but I still have hopes.

Kind Regards,

Kevin Morgan

Hi, not too sure in this case but it might be worth doing a recursive file sync Admin > File Manager, tick Recursive and click Synchronize Files.

I performed the recursive file sync and still no luck. The site works *perfectly fine* with images, it does not work at all with documents. The 'document manager' also shows images but not documents. I'm not quite sure what is going on, if this is a bug in DNN or a simple misconfiguration.

If anyone has any additional insight please let me know.

FWIW - As a community answer, this was stupidity on my part. The 'Network Service' needed ownership of file paths which wasn't being set through FTP.
