After migrating an existing DNN installation, the website loads however when you log in as host, all the modules on the page give this error...

Unhandled error loading module. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Unhandled Error Adding Module to LeftPane ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection.CreateObject(String ObjectProviderType, String ObjectProviderName, String ObjectNamespace, String ObjectAssemblyName, Boolean UseCache) at DotNetNuke.Modules.NavigationProvider.NavigationProvider.Instance(String FriendlyName) at DotNetNuke.Web.DDRMenu.Actions.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.AddedControl(Control control, Int32 index) at System.Web.UI.ControlCollection.Add(Control child) at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.Container.ProcessModule() at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Pane.InjectModule(ModuleInfo module) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Any ideas would be very helpful, we;ve tried a few obvious things like permissions and recycling the app pool.

You can do the following testing to see what actually going wrong.
- do a backup first for your current site.
- if you login as host or admin account, on the top right hand side, there should be an option for you to choose (View, Edit, Layout)
Choose the layout option.
- Try delete one by one of the module to determine which has cause the issue and you may want to contact the vendor.
- If you are a developer, you can just play around on the database and just mark all the modules installed on the hompage as deleted.
