Hi to everyone

I'm trying ti host my localhost dnn website

I did this :

- transfert files to live site through FTP

- change web.config file

- I send the .bak to my hosting support but they are not seing the file

Since I can connect to my remote studio management, I also tried to export data from my locahost DB to live DB

the operation was a success but When I launched the site It goes to the installation process

Please help me

thanks

If it's going through the install wizard, usually that means it can't connect to the database using the connection string provided. Be sure you can connect.

You may also need to edit the record in portals table to match your domain name. Installing it locally will add an entry for "localhost" and that needs to be changed.
