Hi I was wondering where do I need to put my google analytics code, for it to function. I already put it on  >admin>Google Analytics page with the tracking ID and the javascript code that google created indicating "Paste this code on your site".  But it seems not to work right. So how can I configure the Tracking ID and the URL Parameter in >admin>Google Analytics or where could I put the code.

Did you wait 24 hours to check Google Analytics? This happened to me the first time I tried it... Google Analytics doesn't report data from the same day (well the real time reporting is in beta).

Once you paste your GA tracking ID and save it, you should start seeing data the following day.

Thanks Bobby. I also put it directly in default.aspx and it seems to function, but don't know if it could have any implications latter.

You don't need to manually put the code into yuor default.aspx file. All you do is go to Google Analytics under the host menu (or maybe admin menu) and put in your number. It looks sorta like: UA-97888787. Just plug that number in, and you are set. It will put it at the top of each page for you! Makes it easier, so when you upgrade, you don't have to go back and edit the files.
