Hello,

Was wondering if someone ever came across this requirement - create an impersonate user module that allows users to switch back to original with one click.  And even better - the user which get switched to - cannot have page view access to the module.

This really has me stumped - I have created an impersonate user module which works great - but not sure how to switch user back.  Was thinking about session variable - plus event log entry.  For instance if the user has a session variable with say UserID - and Event log has both UserID from original and new user - somehow use that to log in back to original?  And the requirement is also - not to change the core DNN framework?

If anyone has any suggestions - please feel free to comment.

Thanks..

Nevermind, I got it working using session variables. But not sure how safe this.
