Hi Chris,

Yes, I'm running VS as an administrator when I got the error. I'll try what Hugo did and let you know.

Hello Sweet Friends Help please

i start Visual Studio, are you using the "Run As Administrator" and also IIS as an Administrator?

I've got the below error can i creating new project in VS2012:

The Web Application Project MyModule is configured to use IIS. The Web server 'http://dnndev/DesktopModules/MyModule' could not be found.

Can you please advise how I can resolve this issue? By the way, I have made changes to the HOSTS file and installed the msbuild MSI.

Thanks in advance!

Remove the virtual Directory 'http://dnndev/DesktopModules/MyModule'  from the Project.  DNN could only start from the root and not from a module.  So in your way it should start from 'http://dnndev' !
