Hi 

I have tried looking for this on Google but with little luck

i would like to remove the Login in button on the menu but not the Register button

i would also like to rename the text of the Register button to Subscribe.

all the answers i find is in the prev. versions of DNN. i am using DNN6.2 

can someone point me in the right direction?

Rename Register button: I guess it's /Admin/Skins/App_LocalResources/Login.ascx.resx.

Remove Login button: Why? I mean: Why should someone register if he or she will not be able to login at a later stage?
Anyway: I think you have to write your own Login control (skin object resp.) to do so - or find one with this option (DNN Market, CodePlex...)

in /Admin/Skins/App_LocalResources/Login.ascx.resx. i can only change the Login and Logout buttons not the register button?
maybe im missing the section where i can change the Register button? can you send me the sample code where i can change it?


Customers are funny things, i did suggest a newsletter module for what they are trying to accomplish but they dont want to spend money.

so im trying to redesign DNN so that the users can "Subscribe/(register)" to a newsletter. The customer dont want users to login. only to register so that they can send the users newsletters.
