i thought that active forums 4 was available on codeplex but it is not to be found. only the 5.0 betas were available and based upon a couple of postings, the product is still buggy. in addition, the beta is not a recommended upgrade base for the general release version.

is it possible to download active forums 4? where?

I used to available in the store (for a fee) but it looks like it's been pulled. I suggest you post this question on Active Module site as well:

After you registered on the site you can download the lite active Forums module from http://www.activemodules.com/download...

i think the link has been deactivated. there is notice to go to the download tab of your profile page but there is nothing there. and the link for lite does not work.

i thought that active forums was a core part of dnn and would be available in the community edition with full features. is that not correct? if so, does that mean that both blogs and forums are no longer part of the community edition product?

Well .... nobody seems to know the answer.

AF were promised a year+ ago, then they were promised as part of 6, then as part of 6x, then some script to convert is almost ready, and time passes.
