Hello
I have fresh installed the Forum Module 5.0.4 on DNN 6.2.2 CE

When I click "on upload the file", I get this error here:

Fehler: ist zur Zeit nicht verfügbar.DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions. Services.FileSystem.FileManager.MoveFile(IFileInfo file, IFolderInfo destinationFolder) bei DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.FileSystemUtils.MoveFile(String strSourceFile, String strDestFile, PortalSettings settings) bei DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.WebControls.AttachmentControl.cmdUpload_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- Ende der internen Ausnahmestapelüberwachung ---

Do you know if there will be a new version, or a fix for this problem or if this will just stay as is...
Many thanks for your help

Try to check if the file type is allowed for your System on your System Settings.  Also be sure the file is not bigger then 8 MB, this is the Default Setting on the web.config file.  Also check if the user have upload permission for the DNN Folder using the DNN File Manger!

Issues on the DNN Forum will no longer be fixed about DNN Forum will be replaced with Active Forums 5.x after it is well develpoped.

Hallo Matthias
Try to check if the file type is allowed for your System on your System Settings.
--> Yes, it is listed in the allowed file types (host settings), like pdf, docx, etc.
Also be sure the file is not bigger then 8 MB, this is the Default Setting on the web.config file
--> yep, is not bigger.
Also check if the user have upload permission for the DNN Folder using the DNN File Manger!
--> Yes Users have permission to open files, read and write.

About Acitve Forum, I've tried this, but I can't work with this beta 2 version, because when I select a feature in the menu it appears for a millisecond and then I'm back to the front page....

Hi Roland,

are the permissions also sett for each Forums on the Forum Admindashboard?

AF Beta2 is not for Production use yet, the issue happens with the document type, set it to I.E 7 Document and it will be work as aspected. There is also a AF 4 Lite Version available on activeforums.com for free.
