  • Installed clean english SQL2005 server with standard settings where collation is SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS on both server and database. The server is english Windows 2003 Server.
  • Installed shiny new installation of DNN 4.3. Made no changes.
  • Registered user.
  • Logged in as Host and deleted new user by clicking the icon
  • After 10-15 seconds an error says "Error Deleting User". User still exist in aspnet_Users etc.

    •  

    This is now my third test server. Is this also a know bug to be fixed in 4.3.1?

    Can I just delete the users from aspnet_Users and aspnet_Membership, or is there more to it?

    I'm having the same problem.

    And my version is the 4.03.01... so the bug isn't known.

    I resolve deleting manually the rows from the tables in the database... :(

    Hi,

    do you use the english language settings for your admin / host user?

    I´ve found out, that since DNN 4.0.2 I can´t delete a User-Account when I´m using a different Language-File then "en-US" I´ve posted this at http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=2940

    This issue still exits in 4.3.1

    I too have this problem with en-GB setting on DNN 3.3.3.

    UNABLE TO DELETE USER.

    Any news if this is due to be fixed or anyone have a work around.
