Sometimes the DNN site is very slow to load because it has to reload site.  The new version 6 ismuch better, but still at times can be slow to load.

I want to have a very simple HTM page for a splash page that will automatically forward to the DNN site.

I have an HTM page that has a custom page property to refresh in 1/10 of a second and go to Default.aspx.  It loads almost instantly and the site may or may not load, but user sees something

How do I make the splash page an HTM page?  All I can see for splash is the pick list of ASPX pages on the site.

I guess an alternative is to set the IIS default page for the site to that HTM page instead of default.aspx , but will that cause problems when it comes time to update a DNN version????

Does DNN   ALWAYS start with Default.aspx or does it use other start page names?
