By the way, I just discovered that I can not create additional portals, too.

check the .log files in there.

Here are the logs of that update. I can not see anything of interest.

Wait, it's wrong what I said : I can create new portals, and more interesting : I can save the settings on a newly created portal !

I think the best to do is to check what are de diffrences in the db between the two portals. I will give it a try and report about it.

first, you should start external links allways with http://

second, there is an issue with 3.1.1 update: dbo.GetList refers to unknown column displayname, that AFAIR was introduced with DNN3.3.0/4.3.0

please check, if this sproc exists in your database.
