What are our rights to the images that are included in many skins?  When we purchase the skin are we also purchasing the right to use these images on our commercial websites?

I think there is no universal answer to this.

You would need to look at whatever agreement you have with the seller/author. If you have not bought yet then ask the seller. If you don't like what you hear then negotiate.

If you buy from an online shop it *may* have a policy of only accepting contributions that can be used for all purposes. You would need to check that with the shop.

I'm impressed that the question is being asked because I think it's important and often neglected.
