Hi, I've just upgraded from 5.6.2 to 6.2.2 and have found that in IE when logged in, the RibbonBar is visible and it appears to hide the top of the body of the page.

More precisely, the body tag has style="margin-top:34px;" in firefox but not in IE. It's like the style is being applied later in IE for some reason, sometimes it's okay, like when first logging in , but then when I change a page, it seems to have this issue.

When it is appearing correctly, my menu sub items start appearing over the top of my menu items so I can only click on the sub items and not the main menu item.

This is causing me quite a headache so if anyone has any idea's that'd be great.

Thanks

Nolan

Have you inherited SOLPARTMENU from the earlier installation? If so, try switching to DNNMenuProvider and see if the problem goes away.

Also, if you are on IE9, use F12 and the developer's toolbar that brings up, to check if it has switched to compatability mode - mine does sometimes - not tracked down what is causing it yet, so can't do a bug report.

Hi Bill,

Will changing the menu provider cause me CSS issues? I figured I'd just have to keep the SOLPARTMENU, and at this stage haven't looked at upgrading it.

I'll try your suggestions and see how I go.

in IE, press F12 and check, in which browser mode the page is displayed correctly. You may now add the proper header directive to force proper browser mode for IE, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libra...(v=VS.85).aspx
