Integrate Windows Live Messenger(Msn) on your dotnetnuke sites is easy, you can do it as followings:
Note,make sure you already have a MSN account and have Windows Live Messenger application installed on your computer before you start.
1. Visit
http://settings.messenger.live.com/ap..., follow guide to let MSN generate embed code for you.
2. If you choose "IM window" style, then MSN will generate html( Iframe tag based) like below:
In this case,simply put a Text/Html module to your page, then edit its content to include the generated html.
3. If you choose "button" style,MSN will generate html like below:
As you can see,there are two java script file which need to be injected. You can't directly put them on DNN built-in Text/Html module. Instead, you need put them on module settings. As followings:
(1). Put a Text/Html module on page, click "settings" action button, add these two script on "header" and "footer" (under "Advanced Settings" section).
(2).Click "Edit Content" action button, change html content like below:
