In my web.config file I have as follows:

<!--<customErrors mode="On" defaultRedirect="~/error.html" />-->

    <customErrors mode="on" redirectMode="ResponseRewrite" defaultRedirect="contactus/sorry.aspx" />

However, what I would like to do is put a mobile friendly page on our website (site.com/app,html)

Unfortunately, when I try to navigate to the site.com/app.html page on either my phone or browser, it redirects to my custom error page (I'm assuming because it's not the .aspx extension, but rather the .html ext)

Can anyone help? Never been through this process before.

Thanks,

-Mike

No this just works.

Your app.html page needs to be in the root of the web site.

If it does not work then remove the custom error page so that you can see what it is actually complaining about.

Best wishes,
