Hi Lan,

Thanks for reply.

I have triated that player, but it does not provide shuffling and how I can sort song in it. And I don't want to show song list on my webpage. The Ultra Video Gallery which I tried yesterday, is also not appropriate for me. Its flashplayer not even have next/previous buttons.

Please suggest me some more player, your help is very useful for me.

Thanks again.

Hi friends,

Thanks for reply.

I found XSPF player very useful. It is completing approx 80% requirements.

Regards,

NMathur

Hi NMathur

Thanks for taking the time to report back.  I looked at this player but it is Flash based so will not work on many fruit based devices (apple).
For me this is a big fail.

I find that I too will need to find an mp3 player for a project so I will post here if I get lucky.

I have now realised that there is no DNN module that really does the job of providing flexible playlists / an mp3 player.

In practice it is not such a chore to use one of the many players that are not dnn modules. In the past I have used flowplayer with DNN and also the open video player for streaming and the extra work was not large.

On that basis this link provideing a list of 25 players may be of interest.

I need an html5 player and quite like the "look" of this one

Ian -

The Panzer HTML 5 player looks good. I'll have to give it a try.

I had been using FlowPlayer but even though it is supposed to be iPad compatible many users reported that it was not.

Of late I've been using the free, open-source jPlayer for audio . . . as it is compatible with later browsers (including those for iOS, etc) that support the HTML 5 audio tage and falls back to a flash player for pre-HTML 5 browsers .  .  .

Here's an example of its use in a DNN repository module template on a site I did for a church .  .  .
