Hello,

I'm making a cotainer with special functions in my skin to DNN 6.2

Can you tell me if there's a way to know in the .ascx container file what is the module ID of the module that has that container.

Something like %mid% that is replaced by the module ID.

Someone could help me?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

Jose

It might be better to find out what you're trying to do. Typically a container, or skin is dumb about what the module's are doing.

Hello Patrick,

I want to put an icon on the container, with a link, in that link i need the module ID.

That link should have .../mid/456/.. (if the module ID is 456)

Thanks for your answer

if you disable popup in site settings, you will see the module ID in URL, when entering module settings.

Clearly that's true.

Can you expand a bit? I don't see how it's useful to a container author.

Best wishes,
