Hi All,

All new users on my site (6.2.3) are complaining that their Verification Codes are not working and that it has this message despite entering their code correctly:

"You are using an unverified account. Please verify your account by clicking on the link contained in the verification email we've already sent to you."

It seems now as though ALL new users are getting this, and if you do a search on google for "You are using an unverified account" you'll see my PokerDIY site in the first page with this message! User Registration under Site Settings is set to "Verified".

So, has this area changed since 6.1.5 (when it was working fine last?).

So more info: I made a new user and went through the process. It did not add the Registered User Role to the new user. I can't even do it manually as there is a bug in DNN 6.2.3 where you can't add Roles to users through the UI.

This seems critical to me but no one else seems to have the issue - so what are my options here?

are you able to add the user to the role instead of the role to the user?
