Probably should note that we already paid a NZ based DNN firm around $400 to investigative this for us without success.

The NZ DNN firm that was looking into it for us has found their installs have the same issue. They said they upgraded to Windows 2008 about a month ago and their DNN 6 sites have the same problem.

I never heard back from DNN corp when I sent a request for contact re elite support :(

Firstly on your LAPTOP you are showing that you are trying to run with the application pool in asp.net 2.0. DNN 6 should be running in a asp.net 4.0 Integrated application pool. Secondly, can you verify whether the application pool is set to run in 64bit or 32bit emulation mode.
