Hi ,

What I want is whenever I create a new dotnetnuke microsite my custom skin should come as a default skin rather then dotnetnuke skin .

Also , I want some my content to appear on every microsite when ever I create new microsite.



Please help ..if coding needs please provide sample codes

Pranav,
login as superuser,
go to Site Management in Host menu,
select the website with your skin and master content
use "create website template".
When creating new website, use this template.
Hint: There are known issues with this features in DNN 6.2.3/.6.2.4

Thanks for the quick help.

I followed the steps to export microsite template but not able to do that . Page keeps on loading.

I was able to export main site template but not able to export microsite template . Please help me.

What could be the issue ?

The microsite shoudl be exported separately its not like when you export the main portal all child portals will export as well.

 So you need to export your main portal as seperate portal template and your microsite portal

Also make sure to check the include content checkbox when exporting 

As Sebastian said 623 has issues ( which shoudl be fixed in 624 ) so better to use 622 to do this.

You can export from 622 and import in 623 no issue there, but you cannot export from 623 and import in 623

Hi ,

I am using dotnetnuke version 6.02 and getting this error while exporting microsite from host.

export Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data
.

After clicking export template button , Site keeps on loading and then getting this error,

Parent site template was successfully exported Just getting error in microsite export with content.

 Please help me its urgent
