I am working with a content feed that I am getting from a vendor, and placing that content into a blog that has several categories such as (Golf, Auto, Food).  I am looking for a way to copy the "Recent Entries" part of the blog module to other pages on our Site, but have it filter based on the Categories we want to show. So if they are on our Golf page we would want to show the Golf blog entries in the Recent Entries module.  We only want to configure this as one blog with many categories, because we will want to display multiple categories based on the page being visited.  Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or direction on this. 

 Summary:  Blog is on own separate page, we want to place a filtered Recent Article module on other pages that don't have the actual blog.  We have only been able to copy the module, but not filter it.

Bump....i'm running into the same issue. Have a blog with 2 categories and want to add the blog to its own page and filter by the category. This use to be really easy in the older version of the same module. I tried selecting the taxonomy but that appears to not work.

found this works in the latest version never could get it functioning in blog 5.0
