Hi UDT people and others.

After a bit of messing around I have a working version of 4.3 on a hosted server. I want to say Thank You for the new UDT module in 4.3.   With XSL for UDT and the new profile system DNN now seems to have all the key components in place to really make a big difference.  I am half trying to build a real site with 4.3 while accepting that this release brought significant changes that may take more time to stabilise.  I don't understand the moaners about 4.3 at all - this is simply open souce dev taking place.

My only problem so far is that I cannot get a URL type in the new UDT to work for file, page or url.  All result in a 404 error ? All the other types ( I need to use) seem fine.    Its at www.gpv4u.co.uk

Hi ModMed,
I have just checked UDT3.3.0 using DNN3.3.0 and I can't reproduce your issue though I have to repeat it using DNN4.3.x this evening. Do you have downloaded DNN4.3.0 direct at the beginning? For the first hours there was a wrong release.config inside where the linkclick.aspx http handler was missing.

Please check wheter your web.config contains:

.....
   <httpHandlers>
     .......
      <!-- This is for Serving files, secure, insecure, from database -->
      <add verb="*" path="LinkClick.aspx" type="DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FileServerHandler, DotNetNuke" />

note, that reported URL issues shall be fixed with recently published DNN 3.3.1/4.3.1
