I'm sure this is an FAQ, but have been searching for hours in the documentation and on line...
I would like to change the default registration text in DNN 6.2.x

"Note: Membership to this website is Private..."

as well as the message:

"An e-mail with your details has been sent to the website administrator for verification. Once your registration has been approved an e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address: <email>.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,
thext may be changed using language editor in Admin menu. There is a languages grid with section "Static Resources", where you may click the pen in either Website (for current website only) or Host (for all your websites within this installation) column. Both texts should be found in default file being displayed.

Hello Sebastian,

Can you be more specific about how to modify the "default" text in the default registration module? I followed the direction to locate the exact text so that I can change the DNN term "Private" to more easier description. I tracked down Admin >> Languages >> [Static Resource Site] >> and searched all (?) the trees but I was not able to locate any *.resx file that contains the issue text as shown below:

*Note: Membership to this website is Private. Once your account information has been submitted, the Website Administrator will be notified and your application will be subjected to a screening procedure. If your application is authorized, you will receive notification of your access to the website environment. All fields marked with a red asterisk are required. - (Note: - Registration may take several seconds. Once you click the Register button please wait until the system responds.)

Thank you.

You can simply find it under: Global Resources / SharedResources

and find the key VerifiedMembership.Text
