I've look through the user manuel but I can't find the location of the choice to change the drop down page titles to go from the top of the website to the left side.  Can anyone tell me where this information is located?  The skin that I purchased does not let the drop down tabs show when the skin is on the page and I want to move the dropdown tabs(pages) to the left hand side.  Thanks for your help.

which dropdown are you talking about - the Control panel bar, usually sitting at the very top of the page for page administration or the main navigation menu?

The main navigation menu.

I think you have to modify your skin file(s) to achieve that. If you are a nwebie in skinning, read the appropriate blog and wiki entries here on the site.

If you don't want to do this yourself, you should ask the vendor of the skin.

Best wishes

The location of navigation menus and the layout of those menus is controlled by the SKIN.  Because of the complexity that can be involved in the layout and design of a skin - it is not a simple matter of flipping a switch to move the location of a menu.  There may be any number of skin layout related issue that could impact on such an action.

Unless you are pretty comfortable with skin layout and design and css - then I would suggest choosing a skin that suits your needs instead of trying to force an existing skin to convert to vertical navigation.

Have said that - it is possible to achieve but not without some work in most cases.
