thanks for the feedback.

I'd like to use dbo, but too many stored procedures are missing for dbo schema and I don't know how to restore them.
so it looks like I will have to stick with the other schema which is working.

the schema probably came about due to my limited database knowledge when initially installing DNN 4 yrs ago.

thanks again.

Mark,

That's fine. Just make sure you create a copy of each procedure that only exists under dbo at the moment with the alternative schema name that you are using, and remember not to change schema when you do your next update.

If you are not sure how to create the procedures, just post the procedure name and which version it is from (if you know that) and we can help you.

thanks Bill,

here is an example of a missing stored procedure:
dbo.aspnet_AnyDataInTables
its in dbo schema but I would like in my other schema ('nigel') - as this has a lot more procedures in total.

I'm not sure how to create a new stored procedures?

When I go to create new stored procedured and copy the content of a procedure
(e.g. dbo.aspnet_AnyDataInTables and paste >> it doesn't get saved into my existing procedures list.

each DNN install has a couple (~8) tables with aspnet prefix, which belong to integrated membership provider. all other prefixes must be custom Object Qualifiers

Mark,

dbo.aspnet_AnyDataInTables is one of those which is hardcoded to dbo in the DNN script so probably best left as it is.

Sebastien,

This not a databaseOwner or objectQualifier problem - its an install that was created under one schema, updated under another schema to an intermediate version and then as far as I can work out updated again under the original schema to its current version.
